Do you realize how boring it would be
if God made us all the same? We'd all look the same. We'd
act the same. We'd feel the same, with no one there with
a different point of view; a better idea;
a different perspective.
Diversity in the corporate
world is a valuable commodity. Without
fresh thinking an organization can become stale; a has
been.
The other day I hired a college graduate with
just one year of experience. Despite her lack of experience,
I look forward to the fresh outlook she will bring to
our team.
The same is true in marriage. A different perspective
(if we don't kill each other first) is healthy and good
to discern what's best for the family. The two of you are
twice as good as either of you are by yourself. Just think.
If you were both the same, one of you wouldn't be necessary!
But, if you can just come into agreement. The
Bible says that if you can just touch and agree on a matter,
it shall be done. One can put a thousand to flight. Two ten
thousand. When you are one, nothing will be withheld from
you.
That makes the prayer of agreement the
most powerful prayer on earth. And nobody can be more one
with you than your spouse. A pastor cannot be one with you
in Spirit, soul and body. But your mate can. Do
you sense the power?
God made you, husband and wife, the most powerful
force on earth. He declared that if they would just be one,
they could control the world!
Do you realize what anointing you have right
now? You can move mountains. You can shape destiny. You
can run your home in a Godly manner, regardless of your circumstances.
God said that nothing will be withheld from you when you
agree.
My prayer is that you will not let petty
differences keep you from living your destiny. It is
yours for the taking. And He has given you a mate to help
you accomplish it.
