This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge

Jesus was handed over to wicked men by God's set purpose and design. It wasn't a mistake. It wasn't by some trick of the devil. Nor was it the plan of men. It pleased the Lord to bruise Him.
During the Passion of the Christ we asked the question, "Who killed Christ?" Was it the Jews? Was it Pilot? Was it you or I? It pleased the Lord to bruise Him.
Jesus' death, burial and resurrection were planned long before man ever sinned. The plan was put in place, just in case man sinned. God wanted a way to get his man back. And that was through the shed blood of Jesus.
So, Paul declared that it was by God's set purpose and foreknowledge to turn over Christ.
If God had a set plan and purpose for Christ, he also has a set plan and purpose for you.
SET PURPOSE.
The Amplified calls it a "definite and fixed purpose and settled plan."
The NASB calls it a "predetermined plan."
The NKJV calls it a "determined purpose."
However you view it God has a set purpose for you! It is definite and fixed; settled. God has a predetermined plan and purpose for your life.
So, quit living your life as if it doesn't matter. It does. All you have to do is get into that wonderful path that leads to the good life.
In God's eyes you've got a job to do. So, get to it. It is your faith that will bring it to pass.
