For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship),recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
Eph 2:10 [AMP]
Some people are afraid that if they follow God's will for their lives, then it'll be something they won't want to do. I had a fear that if I ever surrendered to God's will, that He'd send me to Africa somewhere to preach to natives out in the bush. Yet on the contrary, our scripture clearly states that God's plan will lead us to "the good life!" What more would you want?
I finally did surrender to God's will. And do you know one thing that I want to now do. I want to one day preach and teach to my people in Africa. I look forward to the day.
When you surrender to God's will He places desires in your heart that matches His. It's a supernatural thing that won't happen until you surrender.
I encourage you to take the step of faith to trust God. I guarantee you His plan will be wonderful, the thing that will bring you the most pleasure in life. You'll wake up in the morning and desire nothing greater.
I challenge you to trust him today.
