[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Phil 2:13 [AMP]
Yesterday I stated that once you surrender to God's will, His desires become your desires. Our scripture today bears that out.
God is at work in you creating in you the desire and the power to accomplish His will. That's why you have such a passion. And that's why you will accomplish it.
When Joseph received his dream from God, that's all he thought about. God's desire became his desire. Later God's power, and not Joseph's strength, brought it to pass.
The same is true with you. The Godly desires you have are not your own. God gave you your passion to deliver babies, produce music, heal the sick, encourage the downcast, support the needy, and preach the Gospel. To act or dance or sing to the glory of God is not just your own desire.
So, don't take your passion to do great things for God for granted. God is working in you to accomplish His will. And by relying on his power it will come to pass.
